Your system knows where everything is. It just won’t show you.
A warehouse is a physical place with aisles, heights and distances. Almost every system that manages one flattens it into rows of text, then asks people who work in three dimensions to reconstruct the building in their heads.
That reconstruction is where the cost lives. A new picker takes weeks to become useful because the map exists only in the memory of people who have been there longer. A stock discrepancy takes an afternoon because finding the gap means walking to it. The information was never missing. It was just written in a form nobody can see.

Reference customer
A contract packing business ran this operation on handwritten work orders.
A contract packing site outside Melbourne, where every delivery was checked against a paper packing list, every batch number was copied out by hand, and production ran off a printed sheet somebody annotated in pen.
It runs on Spatialis OS now. Receiving is scanned and weighed, locations are confirmed by scan on the way in and the way out, labels come off the work order, and the dispatch paperwork is generated instead of assembled.
